Letoya Makhene Returns to Music After Marriage Breakdown

Songstress and actress Letoya Makhene is making her return to the music scene following her decision to end her acrimonious marriage to businesswoman Lebohang Keswa.

After four years of marriage – which was rife with allegations of sexual abuse, substance abuse and cheating – Makhene announced her decision to divorce Keswa earlier this week.

On Thursday, 13 June, the former “Isidingo” star took to Instagram, where she announced that she was returning to her “first love”: music.

“I am proud to announce I have returned to my first love,” the 39-year-old wrote alongside a photo of herself in a studio recording booth. “My signing ceremony will take place at an exclusive location in the presence of a few hand-picked media, where all will be revealed.”

Makhene added: “To those who have believed in me, thank you for your unwavering love and support. I see you. All I can say for now is take control, own your power and never let the devil have the last say.”
